The lush lawns of the Federal Palace Hotel and Casino in Victoria Island were transformed into a sanctuary of health and mindfulness yesterday, March 14. The Eden Wellness Festival, a signature event of the month-long Guardian Woman Festival, played host to hundreds of wellness enthusiasts, corporate leaders, and fitness icons.

The festival was organized by Maje Ayida, renowned fitness coach and Founder of Eden Lifestyle Ltd, alongside Akinola Maja and Patricia Maja, the Co-Founders of Safari® Fitness, in collaboration with The Guardian Nigeria. The event offered a high-energy mix of physical workouts, mental health workshops, and holistic lifestyle exhibitions, moving beyond surface-level fitness to address total well-being.

A Convergence of Influence and Vitality
The atmosphere was electric as attendees engaged in diverse activities ranging from yoga and meditation to high-intensity interval training (HIIT). While the event was hosted under the strategic umbrella of the Federal Palace Hotel—led by Executive Director Anita Athena Ibru—the day was defined by the hands-on participation of top-tier wellness experts and high-profile guests.

Notable Guests and Attendees
The festival drew a distinguished crowd of celebrities, influencers, and industry leaders who participated fully in the day’s activities. Among the prominent figures in attendance were the legendary Nigerian dance queen Kaffy, who brought her signature energy to the event, and Keme and Alex from past seasons of Big Brother Nigeria, both of whom joined participants in the various fitness challenges. The event was further anchored by the presence of the organizing leads, including Maje Ayida, Founder of Eden Lifestyle Ltd, along with Akinola Maja and Patricia Maja, the Co-Founders of Safari® Fitness.

Sponsors and Partners
The success of the 2026 edition was supported by a range of strategic partners committed to institutionalizing wellness and keeping participants at their peak performance. These included the primary host, Federal Palace Hotel & Casino, and media partner The Guardian Nigeria (Guardian Woman). Pocari Sweat served as the official hydration partner, providing essential ion supply drinks to keep participants properly hydrated throughout the high-intensity sessions. Other key contributors included Zoho Nigeria, Female Techpreneur, and the International Women’s Society (IWS).

The Month of Wellness
The Eden Wellness Festival is part of a broader series of activations scheduled at the Federal Palace Hotel throughout March. To encourage a sustained commitment to health, the hotel is offering special discounts on rooms and wellness packages for the remainder of the month, celebrating the importance of holistic self-care and the ongoing contributions of women to society.
